Portobello Lounge has three distinct spaces depending on your mood and requirements.

The front bar area is furnished with extremely chic, extra tall leather bar stools and comfortable sofas on which to linger over cocktails and aperitifs with friends.

Beyond a fringed curtain is the elegant fine dining area where you can relax into the velvet chairs and savour the fine wine and delicious menu on offer.

Finally the stunning private dining and party room at the rear is the perfect setting for gathering friends and family together.

The Drawing Room has been in operation since late 2008 and has rapidly gained a reputation for both service and style.

We are uniquely set within an art gallery (‘The Muse’) which means that every three weeks the walls of the restaurant change and our guests are treated to a new exhibition of incredible creative talent on a regular basis.

The building works as a space to foster creativity. Our financial contribution to the gallery enables the gallery in turn to support new talent. From January to June every year two specially selected artists are given a residency in the building and on gallery opening nights (generally every third Tuesday) guests are permitted to visit their studio space at the top of the building and talk to the ‘artists in residence’.

The building has been a very special place for many years. It was here that Green & Black’s organic chocolate was founded in 1991 and we hold their values of fair trade and responsible farming very dear to our heart - it is also why we use Green & Black’s chocolate in our very best desserts, cocktails and in our unmissable hot chocolate…

A responsibility to our local and global communities does not mean that we can’t have fun, and we want to make sure that what we are doing behind the scenes means that our guests can relax and enjoy themselves in the comfort and style to which they have become accustomed!
